You will be ambitious for improvements in care and driven to secure and embed change into services across the region. You will establish clear clinical and operational specifications with metrics to enable providers of care to monitor and track the realisation of important clinical and service outcomes for patients, owning and being accountable for progress through collaborative relationships with clinical leaders and providers of care across the region. You will cultivate effective working relationships with the ministry of health and with colleagues within the newly established National Cancer Control Agency across New Zealand.
More about you:
You will be experienced and accomplished in managing skilled small teams, delivering performance commitments and projects, and managing budgets.
You will have hands-on experience of reviewing existing services, understanding population health needs, and securing clinical support for new evidence-based models of healthcare delivery, translating requirements into clear specifications, and cost-benefit assessed implementation plans.
You will have knowledge and awareness of, and affinity for the current policy agenda and latest developments in Cancer care. You are likely to have several years' experience in a leadership role in a Cancer network delivering significant transformational change across multiple tumour streams
You will ideally have
A strong understanding of standards-based accreditation and compliance
A working understanding of and experience in experience based design and co-design techniques and principles
A Successful track record in securing agreement to changing the configuration of services and development and specification of new models of care and service delivery
