Point Of Sales Member

This well-known hardware company is looking for reliable students to help with point of sale in Upper Hutt.
For this job you will be required to communicate with customers and perform exceptional customer service, as well as operate a store till - you must be responsible in this aspect and respect the store's security rules. Self management is a necessity and you must also be compliant to the health and safety rules and procedures.You must have previous cash handling experience, preferably within a retail environment as well as excellent customer service skills and experience. Key skills would be: Written and verbal communication skills. Time management skills. Strong problem solving skills. A knowledge of DIY/Hardware industry products preferred. Confidence with computers. The hours will be Thurs - Fri 7am - 4pm, Sat - Sun 9am - 6pm, Mon - Tue 7am - 4pm. However the hours are negotiable depending on your availability. There will be an opportunity to work asap until Mid Feburary. Drug and alcohol test is compulsory for this role.
