ABOUT THE COMPANY

A large Australia / NZ owned financial services business who have witnessed enormous project and bottom line growth in recent years. These guys are very much 'top of the tree' in respect to their area of financial specialisation.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a very senior Project Manager who has specifically gained a great deal of experience in the Financial Services domain and very much familiar with the International Financial Reporting Standards - specificallyIFRS 17.
(We would also consider a very high level Finance Managers with formal project management).

EXPERIENCE and Skills that will encourage success inyour application.
Project Management- 10yrs+ (high level business and IT related) and MUST have been a key PM within a PMO environment
Financial- essential you must have very recent experience of working within Finance and more ideally, Insurance and/or Accounting
IFRS 17 -existing experience whereby you have worked within a project that has required these reporting standards to have been designed / implemented.
Methodologies- Agile
Functions- Delivery of Project Standards / Stakeholder Management / recommend Cost & Benefits Analysis solutions.
Ideal- if you have previously worked within Accountancy or indeed are a Chartered Accountant, this could be useful but not essential.
*** This is a contract requirement which will commence at short notice (ideally Monday 20th January). An existing NZ Work Visa is required and you must be able to interview at short notice.
