The Team
Corporate Support team is part of the Corporate Support Services Division. We provide business support and ensure best business practices are employed.
We are involved in a wide range of works including the following:
Planning and supporting the capital prioritisation and budgeting process
Reviewing of business cases and coordinating the approvals
Reviewing and monitoring deliverables and benefits of investment
Support Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management
Support Asset Management planning
Coordinating reporting to Executive Management team and CDHB Governance committees
The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Guiding the organisation to achieve the expected investment outputs and benefits via sound and robust portfolio, programme and project management (P3M) practices
Introducing and supporting P3M practices
Promoting sound practices throughout the organisation through mentoring and coaching
The project profiling process and developing competencies to match requirements
The P3M Tool to support the process and enable efficient and effective project management, monitoring and reporting to enable robust governance and decision making
Providing continuous improvement including the investment cycle of prioritising-approval-implementation-deliverables and benefits realisation
Representing the DHB in P3M related meetings / forums / workgroups / community of interest
Your skills will include the following:
Good understanding of Portfolio, Programme and Project management life cycle, frameworks, processes and tools with the ability to adapt to the language and culture of CDHB
Development of P3M frameworks and understanding of Investor Confidence Rating (ICR) requirements
Familiarity of P3M tool with the ability to adapt to whichever tool the CDHB chooses to use
An experienced Project Manager with successful outcomes on a range of projects
Excellent communicator
Ability to influence and motivate stakeholders along this P3M improvement journey
Excellent skills in time management
Proven experience with the following:
Stakeholders management and communications
Maintenance and configuration of databases, preferably a P3M tool
Setting up, using and maintaining a Sharepoint site and library
providing training, support and coaching at various management levels
