PLUMBING/GASFITTING & DRAINLAYING TUTOR
FULL TIME PERMANENT

Southern Institute of Technology is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified person to teach apprentice programme for Plumbing/ Gasfitting and Drain laying within the Trades and Technology Faculty at our Invercargill Campus.

The successful applicant will hold a certification and registration in plumbing/gasfitting with drainlaying qualifications and experience along with significant industry experience.

This is an exciting prospect for the right person to join our teaching team. Lifestyle opportunities exist, with Invercargill being in close proximity to some of the finest outdoor areas in New Zealand.

While previous teaching experience would be a distinct advantage, training is available in this area with academic staff being required to undertake study towards the NZ Diploma in Adult and Tertiary Teaching (Level 6), offered through SIT.
