Counties Ready Mix is a family owned ready mixed concrete supplier operating in the very busy South Auckland and Franklin districts since 1999.
Here is a fantastic opportunity to use your mechanical and engineering skills to maintain our concrete batching plants, heavy vehicles and associated machinery.

Reporting to the General Manager, this sole charge role provides you with the chance to live and work locally in South Auckland, you will possess excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, be able to manage your time independently, possess great prioritisation skills and have basic computer skills.

You will be responsible for maintaining scheduled maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting and working with contractors for outsourced work.

This role will suit the following profiles;

- Mechanics who are tired of working in a cold workshop.

- Fitter turner looking to work independently

- Senior truck driver with mechanical experience.

Paper qualifications won’t impress us, mechanical knowledge, experience and common sense will.
