Planning Manager

The Company
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Demand Planning Manager. You will join an iconic New-Zealand owned manufacturing company who has made their mark across both local and overseas markets. This is a diverse role in which you will manage production planning, purchasing, and also support the wider supply chain team with operations and warehousing as their business continues to evolve, so will your role!

The Role
This is a pivotal role where you will drive the planning process to deliver a plan that drives the best commercial outcomes for the business whilst balancing strategic objectives, customer and market demand and supply limitations.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead weekly forecasting and production scheduling
Manage the purchase order and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
Stock take, warehouse support and reporting
Work cross-functionally to support production develop and other growth opportunities
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency
The Person
You will possess previous experience in production planning and will be confident working in a fast-moving, complex environment. With impressive communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate good capability in working with key stakeholders across the business.
