These services are non-medical multidisciplinary allied health and community-based, aiming to promote and facilitate each child's development pathway so they can reach their full potential.Day to day the physiotherapist in this role will focus on building rapport and trust to enable assessment and subsequent interventions where milestones are achieved together.
Supporting children of all ages, this role will work with young patients and their whanau to achieve quality treatment and rehabilitation that is goal-based.About YouSuccessful Candidates will have the following:NZ registration as a Physiotherapist and current APCBroad understanding of practice areas and clinical experience in Child Disability or Child Mental Health will be an advantageGood initiative and self-management skillsCommitted to the ideas of research and evidence-based best practiceA current Driver's LicenseWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand |Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
