Are you looking for a new challenge? Southern District Health Board has a unique and exciting opportunity for you to make your mark. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to join our friendly team in Dunedin Hospital on a fixed-term, part-time basis.

About the role - what's in it for me?
An opportunity exists for you to join our team to help us launch our new pharmacy dispensary software system (ePharmacy). You will provide the required operational support in regards to configuration and testing, and ensure the relevant timelines are met, contributing to the overall achievement and success of the ePharmacy project. You will work with Pharmacy staff, IT staff and finance staff to meet the needs of the project.
About you
We're looking for someone who is organised, friendly and calm, able to work independently and at the same time genuinely interested in the best outcome for both patient and team.
To succeed in this role you will need to have the following:
Previous pharmacy experience (preferably current registration with the New Zealand Pharmacy Council and a current APC), with the right to work in New Zealand
Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused
Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting would be an advantage
