Personal Care Support Worker | Part Time | Christchurch

We are a professional married couple with disabilities looking to increase our staffing pool of female personal care support workers. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are looking to recruit a person to fill gaps in our busy schedule. The best support workers are open to new challenges and enjoy flexible hours.
Shifts vary between an hour and 4 hours depending on how we agree to organise things. They include but are not limited to:
Some weekday mornings between 7am & 8.30am;Some dinner shifts between 6pm & 8.30pm; Alternate weekend morning shifts from 9am to 12pm Other shifts as agreed.
At this stage, days of the week are negotiable but we can guarantee 15 hours per week.
The tasks are:
personal care including showering, dressing, grooming; support for one of us to eat; assistance with meal preparation and other practical duties.
But that’s not all! We run our own consultancy business and travel frequently. We need support workers to come with us and do exactly the same things in terms of personal care when we are away from home. It is never more than 2 nights away and we get to go to great places and meet exciting people.
