We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Farmhands to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
The main duties will include general maintenance and support:
Performs general and routine tasks on the orchards, supporting overall crop production and maintenance, including moving equipment, fence repairs, gate adjustmnets, boundary maintenance, painting, general cleaning duties, etc.
Cleans and maintains equipment, machinery, and vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Carries out groundskeeping tasks, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, clearing debris, and maintaining non-productive areas.
Assists in soil preparation by breaking up soil clumps, aerate or turn the soil, removing stones or old vegetation, spreading compost.
Supports irrigation efforts by laying out hoses, checking and repairing blockages or leaks, cleaning filters, setting up water cans or tanks for manual watering.
Assist with preparing spraying equipment such as mixing tanks or containers and transporting gear to work areas for orchard workers.
Assist with cleaning equipment post-spraying.
Transports tools, materials, and fertilisers to and from various blocks and work areas within the orchard.
Supports weed and pest control measures through manual clearing, laying down weed matts mulching to prevent erosion and weeds, and applying non-chemical deterrents as directed.
Maintains cleanliness and order in work areas, including sheds, equipment rooms, and loading zones.
Operates basic farm equipment such as wheelbarrows, handheld tools, and occasionally light machinery under guidance.
Assists in erecting and maintaining orchard infrastructure including fence, support posts, tree guards or windbreakers, sigange, etc.
Unloading deliveries of supplies and materials and organises them in designated storage areas.
Carries out general labouring tasks as required to support orchard supervisors and orchard workers.
What We're Looking For:
Physically fit and willing to do hands-on outdoor work
Previous experience working in a similar role would be an advantage
Able to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Experience operating basic farm machinery (advantageous but not essential)
Positive attitude and good communication skills
Early morning start and flexibility to work in the weekends
Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
Pre-employment drug test and criminal record check required.
Valid Full Class1 license required to commute to work sites
What We Offer:
Competitive hourly wage between $25 to $28 per hour
Friendly and inclusive work environment
Full-time, 30-40 hours work per week.
