About the Role
We are currently seeking a full time Permits Administrator for our Heavy Haulage team based in Rocklea. This role provides key administration and financial support to the day to day Heavy Haulage Operations, in particular, applying for and obtaining permits and liaising with statutory and regulatory bodies to ensure we have the correct permits in place and comply with permit conditions at all times.

Duties
Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and all other statutory and regulatory legislation
Maintain awareness and knowledge of heavy haulage statutory and regulatory requirements
Ensure updates and other important information from heavy haulage statutory and regulatory bodies is understood and disseminated to the broader heavy haulage operation where required, including Drivers
Control permit application and approval process for the broader heavy haulage operation
Control booking process for Police, Traffic and height Escorts
Ensure customer jobs are inputted, charged and organised correctly to provide on time delivery
Complete other administrative tasks to assist the operations team

Skills and Experience
Similar transport or heavy haulage experience with some permits & auditing experience
Sound knowledge of transport principles and awareness of both national and state road laws
Driver Fatigue awareness
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service both external and internal
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Sound computer skills in excel software & data entry
Highly motivated
Ability to work as a team
