We are seeking permanent part-time support workers in the Nelson and Richmond area, to join our team in the new year, with specific need for weekend availability. If you can answer yes to the questions above, we would love to hear from you!
What does this role involve?
A day in this role will see you working autonomously, with a range of clients in the community.
Following a care plan, to provide support with personal care: from showering, dressing and mobility, to domestic assistance: completing housework, preparing meals and assisting people with shopping.
Hours of Work:
Currently we are seeking support workers available for between 20 - 30 hours per week.
Operating Monday - Sunday, between 7am and 9.30pm, all applicants must be available to work some weekends and evenings indefinitely. Some weekday shifts will be offered in addition to this.
To be successful in this position, you will:
Be professional, honest and reliable.
Be friendly in your approach, passionate about working with people, and providing a high level of care for our clients.
Hold a full New Zealand drivers licence, and have your own reliable transport.
Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
The ideal applicants will have previous experience working in the community as a support worker, or a similar role, holding a Certificate in Health and Wellbeing. However, this is not essential, as full training is available.
