Permanent Nanny Position | Full Time | Albany

Down to earth family looking for a child-led nanny to join them in the new year.
This role is child focused and will primarily involve care for a happy, smiley 6 month old boy who is great at communicating his needs. His older brother, age 4, is an articulate, tenderhearted young man who will absolutely talk your ear off – especially if it’s to do with Transformers. He attends kindy every day, apart from Wednesday, so nanny will just be with Mr 6 months for the majority of their days. Their mother will be working from home so candidates must be comfortable having parents on site during work day. Duties will include:
Taking children to activities (mostly walking distance, otherwise the children's mother can transport you) Preparing meals for the children Changing nappies Washing linen Other general childcare-related activities
The ideal candidate is someone:

Energetic and confident with infants who favors a gentle, respectful approach that allows children to develop at their own pace With some professional experience in childcare Holding a full licence (though this is not essential) Reliable
It is ideal if you have a First Aid Certificate. If you do not, you will likely have to pass a course which will cost you $35 to enroll in.
You will be starting late January. Hours will be 9.00am – 3.00pm/4.00pm, working either 4 or 5 days a week. A work vehicle can be provided and the job location is accessible by public transport. Please note: This job is through a Nanny recruitment agency and you will therefore be going through a series of background checks including but not limited to a police check.
