Permanent Nanny Position | 33 Hours | Westmere

Lovely professional family looking for an enthusiastic and experienced nanny to care for their young son.
This role involves caring for a cheerful wee boy who will be 10 months old when the role starts. He loves reading, music, exploring outside on walks and while cautious at first will form a great bond. Family are keen to find someone who can stay with them for at least a year and become an integral part of their family. Duties will include:
Driving to activities such as zoo visits, MOTAT or musical activities Preparing meals Changing nappies Washing linen Other general childcare-related activities
The ideal candidate is someone attentive, warm, fun and relaxed. You must be confident with infants and have a gentle yet firm childcare approach. At least one year of similar childcare experience is required.
It is ideal if you have a First Aid Certificate. If you do not, you will likely have to pass a course which will cost you $35 to enroll in.
Ideally you will be starting in late February or early March. Hours are likely 7.00am – 6.00pm Wednesday to Friday, but the family is open to discuss this with the right candidate. Please note: This job is through a Nanny recruitment agency and you will therefore be going through a series of background checks including but not limited to a police check.
