In short, we want it all.The People & Culture Manager has an essential role in assembling the GPNZ team and caring for our people. Working with the Recruitment Assistant you will ensure that we hire diverse, highly skilled individuals who will contribute to achieving Greenpeace’s overall environmental mission.Your experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR Information Systems will be invaluable as recruitment for our team and overseeing the recruitment for our telefundraising team is a significant part of your work.You will be responsible for delivering on the People & Culture objectives which have a strong focus on diversity and inclusion. We need someone who has a passion for this work, who can support managers and the wider team with their learning in this space.This role is operationally hands on and requires you to support managers with coaching, handling employment relations issues, and as they work through the process of inducting new members of their team.Ensuring a strong Health, Safety & Wellbeing culture is an important part of Greenpeace’s work environment and alongside the Organisational Support Director, you will support the wider team to understand their personal responsibility.Your main duties will include (but not limited too):Manage and oversee the end to end process for all GPNZ recruitment, working with hiring managers throughout the process.Use system data to regularly monitor of the effectiveness of the recruitment system.Provide clear and supportive leadership of direct reports to enable them to achieve their agreed roles and contribute their full potential to the direction of GPNZ.Ensure GPNZ’s People & Culture services are delivered as cost effectively as possible and expenditure is focussed and prioritised.Develop and manage budgets based on GPNZ’s Learning and Development goals; Diversity and Inclusion strategy and any other known agreed projects.Support the Organisational Support Director in creating and delivering the GPNZ learning and development goals.Support the Organisational Support Director in ensuring the GPNZ Health and Safety systems are well understood by all staff.Greenpeace New Zealand’s Integrity Officer.Greenpeace New Zealand Diversity & Inclusion Officer.Is this you?At least 5 years relevant HR experience.At least 3 years general recruitment experience.Competency in Microsoft programmes and G-Suite.Proven experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR Information Systems.Demonstrated competency in data reporting and analysis.Ability to implement strategy.Demonstrate analytical thinking.Clear decision making ability.Demonstrate clear planning and organisation skills.Demonstrate ability to drive and create culture.Excellent communication skills.Demonstrates high level of integrity.High level of resilience and persistence.What you’ll get in return:Competitive salary for the NGO sector, excellent health and wellbeing benefits, and a flexible, fun workplaceThe opportunity to progress and grow with a diverse team of inspiring individualsGreat job satisfaction knowing that your day to day efforts are contributing towards an important causeInsights into the world's most successful environmental campaigning organisationWhat’s next:If this excites you then go for it!
