About the role
A great opportunity in this newly created position for an experienced
People & Capability Advisor
to join our team in a
part-time capacity (20 hours per week)
.
This position is ideal for a seasoned HR professional who enjoys working across a broad range of people-related activities and partnering with operational leaders to support a positive, high-performing workplace.
You're an experienced HR generalist, confident providing practical advice and support across the employee lifecycle while contributing to initiatives that strengthen organisational capability and culture.
Building trusted relationships, fostering positive, inclusive workplace culture, and partnering with leaders and teams is second nature to you.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver professional HR advice, support, and guidance to team leaders, managers and employees across the full spectrum that is human resources
Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and processes
Support organisational development, learning, and people capability initiatives
Assist with HR reporting and maintaining accurate employee records
Provide support across health, safety & wellness practices and initiatives
What you will bring
You're a credible HR partner, comfortable navigating complexity, a busy workload, can challenge constructively while keeping professional integrity at the heart of everything you do.
You love the day-to-day hands on operational and functional elements and comfortable pivoting to manage multiple activities at once.
5+ years' experience
in a generalist HR / People & Capability Advisor role with an HR or related tertiary qualification
Strong knowledge of
New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practice
Sound judgement, excellent communication & relationship building skills
A proactive, reliable, and collaborative approach
Experience supporting
health and safety practices
is advantageous
