Are you a Payroll Specialist with a wealth of knowledge to share? Join our tightknit, supportive team based at Whangarei Hospital on a permanent full-time basis. The Payroll team is responsible for the end to end Payroll process and processing of all remuneration entitlements and deductions due to staff in a timely and accurate manner. The role of the Specialist will be to work autonomouslyand within the payroll team to ensure a timely, efficient and accurate high-quality payroll service to the employees of Te Whatu Ora utilising knowledge of all the payroll functions, Te Whatu Ora policies and legislation requirements. You will proactively troubleshoot, implement changes, action audit checks and suggest improvements and work to share your knowledge in a busy team environment ensuring all processes are fully documented and audited at all times. The position of Payroll Specialist encompasses the following major functions or key result areas: Payroll processing and reconciliation Training and maintenance of knowledge To maintain effective relationships with colleagues and other staff Continuous Quality Improvement throughout Payroll Working with Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau is about more than just a job.
