We are looking for a highly experienced Payroll Manager to join a dynamic team in Wellington.
This is a permanent, full-time role where you will have the opportunity to manage a large payroll team and take full ownership of payroll processes.You'll be responsible for ensuring payroll compliance, accuracy, and efficiency while overseeing a team of professionals.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a large payroll team, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees.Ensure compliance with New Zealand payroll legislation and relevant tax laws, staying up to date with any changes.Effectively delegate tasks within the team, with a focus on influencing and guiding team members to achieve goals.Provide excellent communication and support to employees across the business regarding payroll-related queries.Maintain and improve payroll systems and processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless HR and payroll integration.What We're Looking For:A minimum of 5 years' experience in payroll management, including managing teams.Extensive knowledge of New Zealand payroll legislation and compliance requirements.A proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused approach to work.This is a role which has a competitive remuneration package, including superannuation benefits, alongside supportive management and a collaborative work environment.A role where you can take complete ownership and make a significant impact.If you're a dedicated and experienced Payroll Manager who is ready to step into a role where you can lead a talented team and make a real difference, we want to hear from you!
