With increasing growth and expansion, we are on the hunt for an experienced Parts Manager to join this successful and capable team in Hastings.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this new role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate management of the inventory control processes, right from procuring raw materials to expediting finished goods. For the team, you are the absolute “go to” person, and have responsibility for all areas including stock procurement, maximisation of inventory turns, conducting stock counts, internal stock transfers and dispatch of finished goods. Coordinating and assisting in negotiating contracts with couriers and suppliers means you have full visibility of stock movements across the business. There is a real platform for you to problem solve here, and drive efficiencies across stock and inventory management.
To win this role, you will come from a production, automotive or manufacturing based business or where you have been responsible for parts and inventory management. You must be able to communicate across the stakeholders in the business and suppliers to gain all the information that is needed every day. Your analytical and meticulous approach around detail will be highly valued as is a confidence in automated stock management systems and Microsoft Office. You are no stranger to dealing with suppliers regarding contract negotiations, and your sound commercial grit, ability to manage budgets through stock management will be highly regarded.
