We are a family-owned, New Zealand business employing over 300 people across 17 company-owned locations throughout NZ distributing and retailing some of the world's leading brands of agricultural machinery and equipment.
We are looking for aPayroll Expertwho can manage our end to end payroll processes in a timely and accurate manner and provide expert advice on all things payroll related. It is anticipated that this role will be Monday to Thursday.
The role has full ownership of all aspects of payroll, ensuring accurate and timely end-to-end processing and employee maintenance processes. This includes ensuring that all contractual T&C's, company policy and relevant employment legislation are adhered to, resolution of payroll discrepancies, and reporting and reconciliations. You will work with the HR Manager to maintain accurate employee information, including on-boarding new employees, changes for existing employees, and off-boardings.
We are looking for a team member who is:
An expert in NZ payroll legislation and compliance
Exceptionally customer-focused, responding to queries and providing resolution in an appropriate and timely fashion
Experienced with a minimum of 5 years in payroll with experience in midsized organisations
knowledgable of IMS payroll (preferred but not necessary)
Enthusiastic about their role and passionate about sharing their knowledge with the wider team
