You will be working as part of a team, comprised of Plumbers, Electricians, HVAC Technicians and our Building Maintenance crew ensuring our clients’ facilities are maintained to a high level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Workload will consist of a combination of reactive maintenance and minor project work, but also assisting with Planned Preventative Maintenance works
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Experience in commercial/residential painting.
Commercial maintenance experience is highly desirable
Experienced in dealing with clients on site
Knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety
Excellent written and spoken English
Ability or willingness to learn to use a tablet/iPad (for job dispatch)
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE:
Complete trades work
Act as the first point of contact for escalations – technical and safety
Champion C&W safety management systems
Conduct safety spot checks
Conduct completed works spot checks
Approve SWMS and other safety documentation prior to job start
Ensure inductions are completed for new starters
Ensure initial and ongoing safety training is completed for new and existing starters
Some estimating work and management of minor works projects may be required

Health & Safety is a priority for Cushman & Wakefield and the successful candidate will be expected to have a good understanding of the H&S requirements and behaviors in commercial environment. Good personal presentation and customer service skills are also essential, as is a clean full driver’s licence.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment medical screening, including a drug and alcohol test. A criminal conviction review is also a requirement of the role.
