About the role Reporting to the Tracks and Overhead Line Equipment OHLE Delivery Lead the Overhead Line Equipment Site Engineer is responsible for the first stage of preparation works and site supervision for modifying the existing OHLE system on Northern Auckland Line NAL Key responsibilities include Identify the scope of work in detail and the sequence of works according to defined site access and constraints Interface with the design team to remove Overhead Line Equipment during Blocks Of Line and Night Shifts Liaise with subcontractors to prepare all documentation required by Link Alliance and rail operator to deliver the works on site Supervise subcontractor works on site according to Link Alliance Health and Safety rules and regulations Ensure all work constructed is completed in line with design drawings specifications and relevant standards About You We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer with 12 years proven OHLE site experience prior experience on a Kiwi Rail network would be an advantage A demonstrated ability to plan and organise work schedules The ability to clearly communicate and engage with stakeholders across various business areas Previous onsite experience on railway project All successful applicants will be required to pass a preemployment drug test medical Please note we have an inhouse recruitment team that manage all our vacancies No candidates presented through an agency will be considered for any of our roles advertised
