Orthodontix Merivale is one of three Orthodontix clinics in the Canterbury region, with the other clinics in Cashmere and Ashburton.
Dentists and Orthodontists have the same goal: To make sure your teeth will have the greatest possible chance to last you a lifetime. At your first consultation we will try to determine whether orthodontic treatment can contribute to your dental health and aid in the longevity of your dentition or improve your appearance.
Therefore, we're able to look at two different types of people for our Orthodontic Auxiliary vacancy. You could either bean experienced, qualified Orthodontic Auxiliary- looking for a practice and team with a difference, oran experienced OHT who wants a more specialized role.Whatever your Dental background we have the knowledge and experience to set you up for success.
Our opportunity is full-time over the following days and hours:
Monday - Thursday: 7.45am - 5.15pm , (with 60 minute break)
To step into this opportunity you will need to have:
Demonstrated experience as either an Orthodontic Auxiliary, or Orthodontic/OHT.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Exceptional patient focus and care.
High levels of attention to detail.
The ability to work well in a team and adapt to different working styles.
Strong multi-tasking skills and be able to work well under pressure.
For the right person, full training and support will be given, particularly to gain DCNZ registration as an Orthodontic Auxiliary.
