Orthodontic Auxiliary

We are a Specialist Orthodontic Practice operating in Orewa We require a friendly and energetic Orthodontic Auxiliary to work parttime in our small but busy clinic We envision this role to be two to three days per week including Mondays and Tuesdays although we are happy to discuss hours or days at the initial interview Clinical duties will include taking patient records preparation of teeth for bonding fixed attachments debonding and fitting of fixed and removable retainers assisting the Orthodontist with the full range of clinical work and helping with the sterilisation of instruments As this role also includes patient education and care you must have excellent communication skills and be empathetic Previous experience working with Orthotrac would be a bonus and good computer skills are essential We are looking for someone who is reliable and has a passion for delivering high quality orthodontic treatment with great attention to detail and be committed to being part of a team You must have previous experience and be registered as an Orthodontic Auxiliary in New Zealand All applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa Salary would be negotiable depending on skills and experience and we will support you in your ongoing education and training Please email your interested along with your CV to Amber at reception orewaortho co nz We look forward to hearing from you
