Organisational Development Manager

Organisational Development Manager
Company:

Parliamentary Service

Details of the offer

Mō tēnei tūranga mahi| About this role

The best people supporting the best parliament in the world: that's our vision at the Parliamentary Service. Over the last two years significant changes to our culture and leadership have taken place, resulting in higher levels of engagement, people who really enjoy coming to work every day, and a positive team environment. Our Human Resources (HR) team operates in a high trust work environment and works as a small, agile team, committed to providing exceptional service to the business.
The Organisational Development (OD) Manager is an exciting new position. Bringing expertise and drive, you will play a big part in guiding the organisation through the next chapter of our transformation. Working closely with the Senior and Executive Leadership teams of both the Office of the Clerk and the Parliamentary Service, you will be tasked with the development and implementation of an OD programme of work, aligned with both organisations' strategic objectives.
You will be empowered and supported to grow in this role. Some of the priorities we envisage for the short- to medium-term include the following:
Implement recommendations from the Francis Review and regularly review the addressed recommendations to ensure the implementation was successful and sustainable
Enhance the existing Parliamentary Service performance management framework to include our leadership competencies
Contribute to specific streams of work related to the Diversity and Inclusion strategy
Establish measurements and metrics for each programme of work to ensure they are appropriate and are driving and lifting overall performance
Oversee development of the Learning and Development Calendar

Additionally, you will lead and coach the OD Advisor to enable success in this key role and to ensure their continual development as an HR professional.
What you will bring to the role:
A customer-centric approach - our customer is at the heart of our decisions, planning and strategy
Proven experience in environments where culture change initiatives were successfully developed and implemented
Significant experience in HR (specifically OD) at a senior level, providing both strategic and operational solutions
Demonstrated experience in leading and developing people
The ability to influence at a senior level

As an organisation, we are committed to demonstrating our organisational values (Integrity, Manaakitanga, Accountability, Whanaungatanga, and Empowerment) and as a team we celebrate and acknowledge these behaviours on a regular basis.
As an employee of the Parliamentary Service, you will enjoy an environment of collaboration, with a focus on on-going development, and excellent working conditions, including flexible working arrangements. We are a hardworking and high performing team committed to providing the best service to the best parliament in the world.
The appointing base salary for this role is $117,977 to $131,085 per annum. Appointments will be based on skills, experience and relativity (the remuneration band extends beyond the appointing salary range, allowing for significant career progression).
Click the APPLY button and include your resume and cover letter.
Applications close midnight Sunday, 2 May 2021.
