We currently have a part-time Orderly position available at Tauranga Hospital.
To work in busy orderly department, you must be able to work under pressure, be able to stand for long periods and be physically fit to carry out the tasks.
Our role is to transfer patients, equipment and other vital supplies throughout the hospital and campus.
This role is predominatelycustomer serviceand you should be able to demonstrate great experiences, skills and knowledge. The ability to follow instructions is a definite advantage.
This vacancy is for 3 permanent shifts per week (0.6fte) but you may be required to work shift work and additional shifts as required by the service.
Our role is varied and time bound. You must be able to communicate well with others regardless of cultural differences. You must be prepared to go the extra mile in accordance with our CARE VALUES. See position description.
A knowledge of radio equipment would be an advantage but not essential.
Full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
