About the role
As an Architectural Technician with us, you will be responsible from concept to detailed design; across the design and planning stages, architectural drawings and specifications, and building consent applications.
Production of concept design, resource consent application, BC application, tender and construction project specific documentation
Production of BIM documentation using the latest versions of Revit
Liaise with clients, and internal and external stakeholders across the business
Develop and maintain Architectural design tools, spreadsheets, specifications and policies
Lead the preparation of project deliverables and the co-ordination of project documentation
Provide project administration, contract management, site meetings and inspections

About you
A relevant architectural qualification (technician or architecture), with a minimum of 5 years+ New Zealand Industry experience in a similar role
Proficient working knowledge of Revit with at least 2-3 years? experience
Commitment to design excellence, with extensive design knowledge from conceptual design, preliminary, developed and detailed design, to tendering and contract administration
In-depth understanding of NZ Building Codes, Acts and Statutory requirements
Thrive on a challenge and be motivated to provide innovative solutions for our clients
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Adaptable with excellent planning, organising and time management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator; would be an advantage but not essential
Enjoy working in a team environment and communicating with a wide range of people
