Operations Manager - Nz Hops

NZ Hops Ltd are seeking a talented individual to join their leadership team and take responsibility for managing the operations of processing hops.

NZ Hops Ltd are a cooperative of Master Growers, built on family values, whose legend and cultivars have been crafted for over 150 years with creativity and passion. With modern facilities to cool-store all dry hops from farms immediately during harvest and progressively process the hops into hop pellets for shipment to customers world-wide.

This pivotal role will take responsibility for day to day running of the processing operations including inward supply, processing, packaging, warehousing and distribution. You will lead the permanent and seasonal processing team and have accountabilities, such as, reporting on the production data, monitoring quality standards, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and providing a safe workplace.

To be the right individual for this role you will have experience in leading a team in a production and/or logistics environment, ideally in the food or beverage sector. You will be analytical, well organised with the ability to solve problems, have a drive for continuous improvement, be a great communicator and a passionate leader. Experience and/or a qualification in horticulture or agronomy would be an advantage. You will also have a passion for being part of the amazing journey that NZ Hops is on aiming to be the most revered supplier of hops in the world.
