Details of the offer

We are looking for an operational manager with a broad skill set to join our dynamic, forward-thinking team. A can-do attitude is essential, as well as the ability to align implementation with strategic priorities and principles that support the delivery of high quality equitable health care.

You will be a stand out when it comes to developing and working through implementation plans and operationalising strategies. You will have the capacity to focus on overseeing business as usual while driving programme and service development and improvement.

You will require excellent communication and relationship skills to foster collaboration across a number of child health services and teams including community, child protection and general paediatrics. You will have skills and networks that enable you to engage effectively with mana whenua and iwi to ensure our services and operations meet the health care needs and aspirations of Maori.

You will be versatile, proactive and solutions-focused. Your business operation skills will be broad and include: human resources, contract management, financial management, project management and continuous improvement.
You will need experience applying the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in your day-to-day work and decision making. You will also need experience implementing services and approaches that privilege health equity for Maori.
