Bay of PlentyPermanentFreedom Lifestyle Villages https://freedomvillages.co.nz/ has a vision to establish and operate a national group of lifestyle retirement villages that offer greater flexibility for residents with the potential for capital gain combined with the advantages of a lower cost model. They currently have villages in Papamoa (Tauranga), Cambridge and Matamata, and will shortly announce their fourth village in the North Island. The plan is to extend the network of villages, nationally.The new position of Operations Manager has been created to manage the existing two completed villages (Papamoa and Cambridge) and the third (Matamata) when residents start to occupy the village (December 2019). The main responsibility is to create and maintain an environment that satisfies and delights the residents while being within budgeted parameters. There are three Village Managers reporting to the position. Additional responsibilities include, managing the village budgets, maintenance and other operational contracts as well as ensuring processes are in place for compliance to industry standards.Ideally you will have experience in the Retirement Village sector or similar at a regional or multi site level. We will consider people who have managed large single sites and show the potential to “step up” to a portfolio. You must also have the ability to engage with people as well as possessing a high level of planning and organisational skills.
