Operations & Logistics Planner

We are currently looking for an Operations & Logistics Planner to join our team. You will work within our Shipping team reporting to ANZCO Foods Shipping Manager. The primary focus of this position will be to ensure loadouts are maximised and inventories minimised as well as minimising ANZCO Foods freight costs for product movement from business units to customers.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience within a similar position or environment who has a good knowledge of New Zealand shipping legislation. Manufacturing or meat industry experience would be desirable but not essential.
Key duties will include but won't be limited to:
Weekly forecasting and management of container releases
Monitoring vessel capacity
Management of allocating bookings to shipping lines
Booking ocean freight
Maintaining and communicating weekly to the sales team a rolling 4-week view of loadout variance to loadout capacity by Plant.
Analysis and reporting
Manage planning of container sales originating from ANZCO's network of processing sites
Manage vessel reconciliations for sales ensuring amendments are entered into the system within required cut off timings.
