Fixed Term – 12 Months 1.3 FTE Full time or Part time positions available Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand, Te Matau a Maui, Hawke's Bay Hospital is currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Oncology team. The specialty is based within the Medical Directorate as an outpatient-based service. The service includes care and management of Medical Oncology, Haematology, and Radiation Oncology patients. We are looking for a Registered Nurse with recent acute medical experience with a keen interest in in learning a new speciality. Oncology experience would be desirable, but not essential, full training will be provided by our team of nurses. The position will work closely with a wide multidisciplinary team undertaking administration of treatment therapies such as chemotherapy, completing assessment and monitoring of the patient's cancer journey. Great communication skills are essential to support your relationships with Whanau . This Role is fixed term to cover parental leave, the shifts are rostered and rotating within Villa 6 working hours of Monday to Friday – 0800-16.30. We will also consider part time applications.
