Job Description: Biomatters, a leading biotechnology company based in Dunedin, Otago, NZ, is looking for a dedicated and resilient individual to join our team as an Office Manager working from home. This full-time entry-level position offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to support our team remotely. Responsibilities:1. Manage and coordinate administrative functions to ensure smooth operations.2. Organize and maintain office records, including employee records and financial documents.3. Handle correspondence, manage calendars, and schedule meetings as needed.4. Assist with HR functions such as recruiting, onboarding, and performance evaluations.5. Coordinate travel arrangements and manage expense reports.6. Provide support for virtual meetings, including setting up video conferences and taking meeting minutes.7. Support project management tasks and assist in data analysis and reporting.8. Handle general office tasks such as ordering supplies, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and maintaining office equipment.9. Assist with special projects and events as needed. Requirements:1. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.2. Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail.3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other office management software.4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.5. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.6. Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office space.7. Previous experience in office administration or a related field is a plus, but not required.
