We are a successful business of 13, soon to be 17 staff, in our 13th year of operation. This is our third appointment of a graduate through SJS as the last two were hugely successful.
We are a plumbing, gasfitting, electrical and drainlaying business. One of our main lines of business is gas appliance servicing. That is, gas fires, hobs, cookers, instantaneous water heaters, space heaters, central heating systems.
We have a backlog of work from Winter, and a very big amount of data that needs to be collected together from three sources and organised into a summer service programme.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Backup phones: especially at the start of the week when all our phones can ring at once. You will quickly learn how to take a call and book a job. Data entry/cleansing: keeping our customer database and parts catalogue clean and tidy Asset management: reviewing our asset database for summertime servicing, phoning clients after auto notifications sent to secure service work. Checking two other databases for appliances and service history. Backup to our operations administrator: accounts payable, stock management, reporting, inwards/outwards goods, filing in any of our cloud based systems
We have a young and energetic team with up to five of us in the office. We always have music on at work, share some bad jokes and enjoy what we do. We also take our targets seriously and get a kick out of achieving them. We are largely a paperless business so your ability to get around a computer and quickly transfer information from one place to another will be valued.
