Due to growth and focus on expansion we are looking for a dynamic individual who is organised, efficient and has the ability to think on their feet for the role of Office Assistant. We are a 100% family owned and operated business focused on supplying street lighting controls and low voltage LED lighting solutions throughout New Zealand and Australia.
General administration e.g. ordering stationery, answering the phone, booking couriers Processing customer orders as well as picking, packing and dispatching the orders Updating the website as required with news and products Assisting with customer queries or requests via email and telephone Ad hoc administration tasks as required
All training is provided and plenty of time is allowed for self-learning with guidance when required.
Skills and Experience
A good level of computer literacy with accurate processing and keyboard skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as our sole form of communication with customers is via email and telephone Polite, friendly and clear telephone manner The ability to work independently and, at times, with little or no supervision and who can manage multiple tasks whilst remaining calm Experience in the electrical or lighting industry will be advantageous but not necessary
Hours & Location
10-20 Flexible hours Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00pm during semesters with the opportunity to move to full time hours in semester breaks. Located close to Onehunga Train Station (10-15 minutes walking)
