We have a new office administrator/accounts role in our Wellington based tourism technology company.

We would prefer the role to be full time but would consider applicants who are seeking a min of 30 hours per week.

Key Role Responsibilities:

Process/reconcile accounts receivable and payable in Xero accounting system
Process staff expenses
Process payroll using SmartPayroll
Setup and process direct debit schedules
Respond to accounts enquiries
Reception duties
Manage conference/trade show & staff travel bookings
Keep office supplies and stationery replenished
Keep staff room & meeting rooms tidy
Assist web support team

Candidate Attributes/Skills Sought
Good communication skills and customer empathy
Good decision making skills and personal accountability
Good attention to detail

*Experience with accounting systems (Xero preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Computer literate / web savvy
Manage your own activities without the need for continued supervision
Work well under pressure
Be self motivated and team orientated
Able to review and critique your own performance for continued improvement

IMPORTANT:
As we have 2 small office dogs (miniature schnauzers) we caution those who may be scared of, or are allergic to, dogs.
