We are a people-centred business with more than 12,000 team members across our locations.About the Role:Reporting to the Inventor Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence and assisting in delivering cost savings through inventory management. You will oversee a team of 6- 8 staff ensuring the accurate and timely recording of all inventory transactions as well as compliance with all processes and procedures.Other duties will include (but are not limited to):Maintenance of stock control and reconcile with business systemsProduce reports and statistics regularlyConduct regular cycle count and audit activity in line with group business policiesMaintenance of new stock induction process, non-moving and obsolete stockContribute to maintain Inventory Standard Operating ProceduresConduct audit activity to highlight performance standards against those proceduresSupport layout management to ensure efficient space utilisation and productivityPlan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise resultsContinually review and modify models to ensure it supports the changing needs of the businessBeing able to lead and motivate your team is a key aspect of this role. You will need to have proven leadership experience to ensure you can drive team members to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.About You:Leadership skills and ability manage teams of peopleExperience in warehouse management procedures and best practices, ideally in an e-commerce environmentAptitude for process development and adherenceStrong decision making and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsEffective internal relationship buildingProven ability to implement process improvement initiativesMore About Us:This role is will require you to work 40 hours per week.
