Team Leader – Hardware & Powertools

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate and motivated Retail Team Leader to join our team at Mitre 10 MEGA Westgate to help lead team members in the Hardware & Powertools departments.Combining your strong retail background and your ability to take the initiative, this role will see you support the Zone Manager to lead an already established and successful team and demonstrate your ability to challenge, motivate and drive the team in a fast pace and fun environment delivering exceptional customer service to our Customers.You will assist in the day-to-day management of the Hardware & Powertools departments to achieve maximum profitability, growth and efficiency within all departmental aspects and procedures of the storeThis role will support the Zone Manager with:Managing and maintaining the department;Ensure team members provide the best customer service possible;Maximising sales and profitability;Personnel productivity and efficiency;Continually improve stock availability and inventory controls;Visual merchandising and housekeeping;Health & Safety compliance awareness;Promote a team culture that encourages a positive working environment.We are looking for someone with:Retail leadership experience;Strong organizational skills;The ability to manage a varied and busy work load;A friendly and outgoing personality and great communication skills;Excellence in sales with and the ability to assess customer's needs and a passion for providing a high quality customer experience;Desire to achieve targets and drive performance daily;High levels of energy and self-motivation;Merchandising and solid product knowledge relevant to this department.This a full time position, 40 hours per week working Thursday – Monday.
