ENGEO is looking for an experienced senior level Environmental Scientist to join our Queenstown office. We currently have an exciting, dynamic and diverse workload across New Zealand, Australia and California and we are interested in hearing from enthusiastic people who want to make a difference, and be part of our journey.

About this role:
This position will involve project management of a wide range of environmental, hazard and contaminated site assessments including analysis and design of remedial works. This is an exciting position, which offers a unique opportunity to develop and diversify your skills and career development within a supportive culture.
About you:
Our ideal candidate is someone who is hungry, humble and smart and;
Has a Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant subject;
Has 8+ years of environmental consulting experience (ideally most of which in New Zealand);
Experience of assessing or managing asbestos would be useful;
Has excellent project management and report writing skills;
Experience in design and management of contaminated land investigations and remediation, as well as data analysis and interpretative report writing;
Shows a positive ‘can do’ attitude;
Is passionate about environmental consultancy;
Wants to grow their career, make a difference in the community and create an impact;
Understands and fosters client relationships;
Will check your ego in at the door and work alongside a dynamic team.
Finds innovative and pragmatic ways to deliver excellent outcomes to your Clients;
Works well in team environments;
Has an eye for detail; and
Has strong verbal and written communication skills.
