Te Whanau O Waipareira Trust has been serving the West Auckland community for over 35 years. One of the largest NGOs in New Zealand, with over 200 staff, with continued growth and expansion.
THE POSITION
The Change & Development Lead will focus on the impact of change on the Whanau Ora workforce, and will facilitate practical solutions to support kaimahi and the development of the organisation. The key function is to identify and implement change management strategies, develop plans and deliver training and support. You will be guided by the Whanau Ora Workforce Capability Programme that focusses on the capability of Whanau Ora partners and their kaimahi to contribute to improved outcomes for whanau.
ABOUT YOU
You will hold appropriate qualifications or a minimum of 3 years continued service in Whanau Ora. Have worked with whanau and demonstrate a high-level of enthusiasm to support organisational growth and development. Be able to facilitate change initiatives and plans that maximize organisational adoption of the change programme aimed at strengthening the Whanau Ora approach, thus achieving better and meaningful outcomes with whanau.
Ideally you will have:An understanding of Te Ao Maori including Te Reo me nga Tikanga Maori
A Bachelor’s Degree or above in related field
Good knowledge of change management techniques.
Demonstrated ability to see the “big picture” and understand the strategic context of projects and change.
Proven decision-making experience and leadership demonstrated in co-ordinating and integrating change.
Proven experience in managing a range of business change projects.
Computer literate; proficient in Windows, MS Office suite and project applications.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and analytical skills
Competency using Microsoft office suite and other applications relevant to the role such as client management systems
A full clean driver’s licence and agree to background checks/vetting
