Residential Manager - Transitional Housing

Emerge Aotearoa is a social services organisations providing a range of services to whanau, including Health and Disability, Youth and Emergency Housing. About the Role:
This role provides operation oversight on site at our Emergency Housing complex to ensure all our tangata whaiora are treated respectfully and provided a safe environment.
This role is a live in role and expected hours of work are Monday - Friday between the hours of 7pm-7am to be discussed at interview. This is a sleepover role and accommodation will be provided. It involves observing, patrolling and maintaining security of the site and take action if something appears out of the ordinary. Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role, have strong conflict resolution skills and be able to communicate with a diverse range of people.
If you are a people orientated individual, able to think quickly and have great communication skills this may be the role for you!
The successful person will need;
Experience in a supervisory role
A "can do" attitude and a willingness to assist in a team environment
Practical and solutions focused
Honest, self-reliant and reliable
Previous experience and capability of proving prompt corrective action to deescalate situations
