An exciting opportunity has become available for an Inspector within the Regional Planning Team.
He angitutanga: About the Role
As our next Inspector, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections on huts, structures and tracks to determine if they meet the required standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to get outdoors and visit some of the special places the Coast is known for.
He korero mou: What we are looking for
In order to be successful in the role, you must be physically capable of working in remote backcountry locations. Some days you will be accompanied by two other inspectors. However, you must also be comfortable working alone when required. Full training will be provided regarding inspection standards, safety procedures and systems. We are looking for a great communicator and team player. Please note, due to the requirements of this position, you may be required to work outside regular business hours in challenging weather conditions.
Required:
Backcountry capable with the ability to work alone safely in these environments
Full drivers' licence
Good communication skills
Good Microsoft Office and data entry skills
Excellent attention to detail
