Job Specification

As Komiti Support Officer, you will be focussed on supporting the Amokapua (Manager) of Nga Whenua Rahui in providing administration services to the Nga Whenua Rahui, Amorangi Komiti.
The role will also have a level of one on one support to the Kaihautu (Director) and Amokapua (Manager) in supporting the Department of Conservations, Nga Whenua Rahui business unit.
You will be a smart, tech savvy operator with strong prioritisation, problem solving and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with a wide range of people, whanau, hapu, iwi and Komiti.
You will also have:
Proven experience providing PA support to a Senior Executive
Initiative to progress tasks unsupervised
Interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Expertise using the Microsoft suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Knowledge/understanding of Tikanga and Te Reo Maori would be an advantage
