Job Specification

The Department of Conservation are looking for someone to join the Community Team in Te Anau for a fixed term period of 12 months.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a strong and hardworking team, and support in growing conservation in the Te Anau District alongside our Treaty partners and community.
He angitutanga: About the Role
Applicant liaison and processing of One-Off permits, RMA and other approvals.
Liaison regarding operational input into long term concessions and approvals.
Promoting conservation, lifting awareness and educating others on the value of conservation and ecosystem services.

Relationship management skills
Excellent writing skills
Experience of operating in a statutory environment
Desirable Skills:
Experience of advocating and connecting others to nature
