Overlooking the mouth of Whangaruru Harbour, this campsite has sheltered waters for swimming and boating activities, and a series of interconnected walks.
The Department of Conservation are seeking two Campsite Managers who are motivated and passionate about providing a unique and enjoyable camping experience for all.
These roles will see you engaging with campers, maintaining facilities, with the opportunity to carry out projects such as painting and landscaping.
The successful applicants will receive a monthly salary and an end of term bonus each season. This opportunity is for two seasons. Please note - individual applicants will not be considered as this contract is required to be filled by a minimum of two people.
Desirable Skills:
Previous camp or accommodation management experience
Customer relations experience
Small business management experience
Experience with IT systems
Groundskeeping experience
Successful candidates will be employed as contractors.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory, including a valid work visa covering the whole period of employment if applying internationally.
