DOC has recently identified the need to establish the Security and Investigations team. The rest of the team is already onboard, we are now increasing the size and capability of the team to support our enhanced security and investigations function. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in proactively managing the security of our people, partners and assets.
The Role
As the Senior Security Advisor, you will provide expertise to support the embedding of processes, systems and controls. You will develop and implement appropriate training and induction resources to build the departments capability and awareness. As a senior member of the team you will be comfortable acting as team lead for the implementation and delivery of Security & Investigation projects. You will also be required to contribute to annual and six-monthly planning for the team.
About You
This appointment requires an individual with significant experience in the security or law enforcement industry within the public sector. You will bring previous experience in an advisory role involving threat mitigation, ideally from a large dispersed organisation. We are also seeking demonstrated knowledge of PHYSEC as per government Protective Security Requirements. You must be able to obtain security clearance at secret level.
