Location: Whangarei Category: Facilities/Asset Management Position type: Contractor Job reference: DOC/URETITI Attachments: No File AttachedUretiti Beach Campsite is one of the most popular campsites in New Zealand. It lies between Whangarei and Waipu on Northland's East Coast and this campsite sits behind the sand dunes of Uretiti Beach, a sandy surf spot.
The Department of Conservation are seeking two Campsite Managers who are motivated and passionate about providing a unique and enjoyable camping experience for all.
The role will see you engaging with campers, maintaining facilities, with the opportunity to carry out projects such as painting and landscaping.
The successful applicants will receive a monthly salary and an end of term bonus, along with accommodation provided in a recently built 3-bedroom house for the duration of the term.
Please note, individual applicants will not be considered as this contract is required to be filled by aminimum of two people.
Desirable Skills:
Previous camp or accommodation management experience
Customer relations experience
Small business management experience
Experience with IT systems
Groundskeeping experience
Successful applicants will be employed as contractors.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory, including a valid work visa covering the whole period of employment if applying internationally.
