Refer a friend ApplyIn this role you will be part of the new Business Transformation team responsible for simplifying the Suncorp New Zealand business and growing our ability to rapidly respond to the continuously evolving market and customer expectations.
We are looking for an experienced data expert to lead a small team of data and process specialists to identify systemic/enterprise opportunities for improvement and develop solutions. You will also provide business intelligence to ensure effective decision making related to operational performance and improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Manage relationships with stakeholders across Suncorp New Zealand and provide guidance and support on operational and process quality principles.
Identify and act upon opportunities for improvement by promoting and leveraging data modelling and reporting techniques.
Utilise fit for purpose technical solutions, modelling, reporting, data mining and analytics to identify business improvement opportunities or facilitate the effective analysis of business performance.
Develop small and medium databases, routine queries & other data extraction techniques to manage information.
Develop and contribute to commercially astute analytical driven insights and judgment.
Key requirements:
8+ years recent analytics experience
Recognised process or project management qualification, such as Six-Sigma (Black Belt level), Lean, Agile, etc.
Tertiary qualified in Maths, Statistics, IT or Business
Proficient at leading a specialist team
Advanced competence with analytic tools and techniques
Proficient experience using and deploying a recognised process improvement methodology
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
