Senior Full Stack Developer – Blockchain/Smart Contract Permanent Auckland

Based in Auckland CBD our client are a fast growing, well funded start up company that uses cutting edge technologies to build their platform. They are currently searching for a Senior Full Stack Developer for a full-time permanent role with options to work remotely if preferred.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a brand new role that came about because of the company’s rapid growth. As the Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be part of a talented team that works on building the company’s revenue generating platform. Responsibilities include managing Java application development while providing expertise in the full software development life cycle, from concept and design to testing.

DUTIES
Contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle
Write well designed, testable, efficient code
Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
Prepare and produce releases of software components
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternative technologies and presenting these for architectural review
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Must have strong and proven experience working as a Full Stack Developer
Blockchain tech, smart contract and Cryptography experience would be advantageous or Interest in up-skilling to these technologies
Fast learner and able to learn new technologies quickly
Ability to work independently
TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS
Frontend applications using Typescript, React, CSS and HTML5
Backend applications using Java, Spring, MYSQL and NodeJS
Familiar with Redux, NPM, Jhipster, Hibernate
Familiar with Blockchain technologies including Smart Contract and Cryptography would be advantageous
